About Us
At Tux Tactical, we bridge the gap between range practice and real-world defense. Founded by Kaylee, a U.S. Army veteran, certified USCCA instructor, and retired EMT, our academy emphasizes safety, confidence, and practical skill-building. After years in military, EMS, and private security roles, Kaylee saw too many people with firearms they didn’t truly know how to use or carry effectively.
Our approach combines hands-on, scenario-based instruction with humor and a patient teaching style, ensuring students of all backgrounds—beginners, seniors, and experienced shooters—gain the skills and mindset to protect themselves and their families. Tux Tactical isn’t just about shooting; it’s about preparing responsibly, thinking strategically, and acting confidently.
